Bozeman BS + Beer
Bozeman BS* + Beer was founded by James Childre of Redpoint LLC to create a space where the local building community could learn, connect, and exchange ideas.
The group welcomes builders, architects, engineers, tradespeople, and anyone interested in better building throughout the Gallatin Valley.
Our gatherings are casual, collaborative, and focused on practical knowledge. Each month, we meet at a local brewery, pub, or job site to discuss industry topics, learn from local projects, and strengthen Bozeman’s high-performance building community.
A Nonprofit for the Future of Building Science
Bozeman BS* + Beer is a program of the newly formed nonprofit Elevated Building Science Association.
The association is also organizing the first Cold Climate Conference: Building Science for the Northern Rockies, coming to Bozeman October 12–14, 2026.
Proceeds from the conference will support student trades programs at Bozeman and Gallatin High Schools, helping invest in the next generation of skilled tradespeople and building professionals in Montana.
